Synopsis Carla, a twenty-year-old Venetian, enters a real estate agency in London: she is looking for an apartment to rent for Matteo, the student she is in love with and who will soon join her in the capital of London. Moira, the owner of the agency, is struck by Carla's beauty and invites her to her home. Carla keeps quiet about everything from Matteo, who however, overcome by doubts and jealousy, tells her by phone that he intends to give up the trip to London. Carla, very disappointed, reacts by also accepting the advances of Mario, Moira's ex-husband, during a very particular party. In Venice, however, Matteo can't resist and leaves without saying anything. When he unexpectedly joins Carla in London, he vents his anger but in the end, dragged by her and the people Carla has met, he understands that, if knowing she is with someone else drives him crazy with jealousy, jealousy itself makes him crazy with desire for her. So Matteo asks Carla to swear that she will lie to him forever.
