François Gautier is a cheapskate. Saving gives him joy, the prospect of having to pay makes him sweat coldly. His life is dictated by a single goal: never to put his hand in his wallet. A life that, however, is completely turned upside down in a single day: he falls in love with a woman and discovers he has a daughter he didn't know existed.
