Synopsis This is the true story of the last man sentenced to death in Franco's Spain: a young man torn between his family, love and his passion for political revolt. Having joined the armed resistance against Franco's dictatorship in the 1970s, Salvador is involved in a firefight in which a police inspector loses his life. The court martial against Puig is a farce, and the young man is sentenced to death. All efforts to save his life are in vain: Salvador is killed by garrote on March 2, 1974, at the age of 26. A boy, normal and extraordinary, who consciously chooses to fight for freedom, accepting the disproportionate price to pay for his actions to the extreme consequences. History will consecrate him as the symbol of a generation.
