• Players take on the roles of Puerto Rican farmers competing to hire workers.
• You will have to grow sugar cane and tobacco, sell valuable goods and create an important city infrastructure.
• The goal is to gain as much prestige as possible for our hacienda. The choice of the role to play will be crucial in every turn because the other players will also be able to carry out the actions of the character you have chosen, but only you will be able to receive the advantages associated with that card.
• Puerto Rico is played in rounds. The round ends after each player has chosen a Citizen card, and all other players have taken the associated action. The game ends when: there are not enough workers to fill the Recruiting Hall, one or more players have filled their City spaces, there are no more VP tokens. The player with the most victory points is the winner.
