Lupin and his faithful Jigen have tracked down the source of the counterfeit banknotes that are bringing the world economy to its knees: the small town of Cagliostro, ruled by the eponymous count. Within the stone walls of his castle, the count is holding the beautiful princess Clarissa imprisoned, who holds the key to a treasure of unimaginable wealth. Lupin wants to free the girl, punish the wicked and, of course, take the treasure.
