Synopsis La Captive is the story of two lovers. She, Ariane, he Simon; they live together in a large apartment in Paris. Ariane is a woman who loves freedom, Simon instead loves to watch over her, accompany her wherever she goes trying to meet her even when she goes out. Simon, aware of not totally possessing Ariane who even in moments of sexual intimacy slips away, tries to break and penetrate her world, a world of girls, songs, beach games and big laughs. He desires a total fusion, a sort of osmosis fueled by an obsessive need to be able to completely penetrate Ariane's personality... it's the story of two lovers... VD
