INSIDE MAN (DS) STEELBOOK

Synopsis Four people disguised as painters burst into the Manhattan Trust building, a financial stronghold on Wall Street, and in a few minutes take fifty people hostage, including employees and customers of the prestigious bank, ordering them to wear suits and masks. In the meantime, the police intervene at the scene of the robbery and among them is detective Keith Frazier, called to negotiate with the leader of the criminals, Dalton Russell, an extremely intelligent and strong-nerved man who manages to keep the police in check with a completely unpredictable and well-studied plan. Frazier begins to suspect that behind all this there is something that is being kept hidden from him, when Madeline White, a mediator who asks to speak alone with Russell, appears on the scene. What exactly are Russell and his men looking for? What role do Madeline White and the chairman of the board of directors of Manhattan Trust, the entrepreneur Arthur Case, have in this matter? These are the questions that Frazier tries to answer while at the same time trying to save the hostages' lives.
