• King Manuel I commissioned the best designers in Portugal to create the most extraordinary garden ever for his wife, Queen Maria of Aragon.
• In Azul – The Queen's Garden, players are tasked with creating a splendid garden for the King's gracious wife, artfully arranging wonderful plants, trees and ornaments. Through an innovative tile acquisition system, a peculiar feature of the Azul series, players will have to carefully choose the ones to decorate their garden. Only the most skilled planners will prosper and receive the Queen's blessing.
• The game takes place in 4 rounds, each consisting of 3 phases. Players will have to collect garden tiles and expansions to create compositions of figures and colors while obtaining the most points.
• PHASE 1: players take turns taking garden tiles and expansions (of the same figure, but different colors OR of the same color, but different figures), OR placing a tile OR a garden expansion.
• PHASE 2: Players calculate the score based on the colors and/or figures that provide points in the round and the pavilions visible in their garden.
• PHASE 3: arrange the tiles and garden expansions for the next round. Additionally, the colors and shapes for the end-of-round points are displayed.
• At the end of the fourth round, the final score is calculated. The points previously accumulated with the remaining jokers are added, the points provided by each group of at least 3 or 6 hexagons of the same color. At this point you subtract the values ​​of the cards on your deposit. The player with the highest score wins.
