Angel is the only vampire on earth to possess a soul, the result of an evil gypsy revenge. He leaves Sunnydale, the city where Buffy lives, to fight his fellow demons and the creatures of darkness and lands in Los Angeles where he opens Angel Investigations, an agency that has the purpose of continuing the difficult mission of fighting against vampires, demons and forces of evil. In the metropolis he will meet strange and disturbing characters. When Angel meets the young hunter Buffy, he decides to help her in the fight against evil. Initially their relationship is only professional but then the two get closer and closer, until they fall madly in love with each other. Events, however, are not favorable: Angel realizes that theirs is an impossible relationship and decides to move. Contains all 22 episodes of the first series.
