Other Men

In 1985 in Milan, Michele Croce is now in prison and decides to answer the magistrate's questions, telling how in the seventies he became the ruler of the Milanese underworld. Of Sicilian origin, at the beginning, like many other immigrants, he went through poverty, exploitation, social frustration. But Michele is a rebel, and begins to act on his own: small robberies, shady business and then drugs. One day he saves the life of Loris Corbi, the recognized leader of the Milanese gangsters, and is repaid, managing to make the decisive leap into the clandestine gambling dens sector. Loris is then arrested and in prison marries the manicurist Maria. Michele becomes number one, but business decreases, problems and rivalries grow. Loris is killed in prison in a settling of scores between inmates. The story is over. Michele leaves to be taken to trial. As soon as he is outside, Maria, convinced that Loris died on her orders, shoots and kills him.
